The Parrots LaFitte and Rosie are Solomon Island Eclectus. They are now almost 5 years old and have given us 5 chicks! Rosie, Red-headed with a blue breast and purple wings, is the female of the species, while LaFitte, in an almost neon green with red under wings and blue carpals and tailfeathers, is the male.

They traveled with the ship for a couple years but now live ashore with their offspring.
