Royaliste is traveling overland to the Great Lakes in May then will be sailing from Cleveland to Chicago as part of the 2006 ASTA Tall Ship Challenge series. In August we'll sail east through the lakes to the annual Alexandria Bay, Pirate Festival in the Thousand Islands area of New York on Lake Ontario. From there the ship will head out the St. Lawrence Seaway to the Richleau River and through the Chambly canal into Lake Champlain to participate in a reenactment of the Battle of Plattsburgh. Next stop will be at historic Crown Point, also on Lake Champlain. Early fall will find the ship traveling south on the Intra Coastal Waterway (ICW).
